is the completely inspired Word of God and constitutes the written revelation from God to man. By completely inspired, we mean that the 66 books of the Bible are in every word inspired by God in their original autographs.
is the one living and true God, infinite and perfect in all His attributes. He is one in essence but eternally existing in three persons -- Father, Son and Holy Spirit -- each equally infinite and unchanging in being and attributes.
Jesus Christ, born of a virgin, lived a sinless and impeccable life. He died on the cross to pay for the sins of believers, rose bodily from the dead on the third day, ascended into the presence of God the Father and will return in power and glory. The purpose of the incarnation was to reveal the fullness of God to man, to seek and save lost sinners, to die a sacrifice for sin and to eventually rule a physical Kingdom.
The Holy Spirit, is God. He possesses all that is divine. It is the work of the Holy Spirit to execute and empower the divine and sovereign will of God.
in his original state, was created free from sin with a rational nature for the purpose of glorifying God. Man chose to separate himself from God and thus incurred both spiritual and physical death for himself and mankind. The condition of fallen man from birth is that of darkness of mind, depravity of will, and death in the soul. Man by nature is dead to God and unable to save himself apart from the intervention of the Holy Spirit.
is entirely the work of God and not man. This salvation was pre determined before the foundation of the world; it was Christ's redemptive work that atoned for man's sin as He carried believers' guilt. Men are saved and justified on the grounds of Christ's death alone, by God's grace alone, through faith alone.
will occur physically for both those who have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and those who have not. The saved will be resurrected to an eternal state of joy with God, the unsaved to eternal punishment and suffering without God.
The purpose of these groups is so each of us be watching out for one another (Luke 17:3). A community group can meet together to eat and talk life together, to connect, study the Bible, to pray, and think through the Christian life together. But each group is to watch out for one another.
How do we get to Sunday? That is, how do we fight through the stuff of the week as we look forward to gathering together again on Sunday? The answer is God's Word. Each week we take a few minutes to think through a portion of God's Word and how we can apply it to our daily living. It is something we call our fighter verse.
We use the church blog for the weekly fighter verse, announcements, encouragement, and to prepare for gathering together on Sunday. At the end of each week, the order of worship for Sunday is made available as we look forward to Sunday.Visit Blog
